Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well-being. Massage can improve relaxation, respiration, mobility/flexibility, blood and lymph circulation, tissue health and so much more. There are many different types of massage techniques that has each their own benefits.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
This connective tissue surrounds and supports the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, etc) throughout your body.

Float Therapy

Float Therapy is the process of floating in a sensory deprivation/isolation/zero gravity pod or pool filled with body temperature water and 1,000 lbs of Epsom salts in complete silence and darkness. By removing all external stimuli from the nervous system, it has many benefits to the human body. This includes both mental and physical effects.

Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial Cupping is a technique used to promote nutrient-rich blood to areas, providing increased circulation to stretch muscle tissue. Silicone or plastic cups are positioned over tight muscle and fascia which creates a vacuum effect drawing the skin, fascia and muscles into the cup. Note: cupping may leave suction marks which do fade within a few days.

Hot Stone Massage

Use of smooth, heated stones as an extension of the Therapist's own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization - IASTM

IASTM works like a standard massage, but specialized instruments are used in place of a massage therapist’s hands. These instruments allow more direct treatment of the soft tissues involved with movement. The tissues include: muscles, fascia (connective tissue that surrounds and separates muscles), ligaments, and tendons.
IASTM can involve broad or targeted treatments.
